Glossary of Terms
Angel: “Literally, messenger. A spiritual is, superior to humans in power and intelligence, an attendant spirit or guardian. A usually white robed winged figure of human form in fine art. A person likes angel as in looks or behavior. Primarily in Western religions, any of numerous benevolent spiritual being who mediate between heaven and earth. Charkra: “In Hinduism and Tantra, any of the 88,000 focal points in the human body ( wheel) psychic energy circles in the body.” Britannica on-line.
Divination: “Practice of discerning the hidden significance of events.” Dictionary on-line.
Faith: Inner attitude, conviction or trust relating man to a supreme God or ultimate salvation. The divine influence operation in man for his regeneration.
Guru: A spiritual master who has attained oneness with God and is therefore able to initiate seekers and to guide them on the spiritual path to liberation. A Guru is also required to be learned in the scriptures and must belong to a lineage of Masters.
Healing: “Involves restoring and maintaining personal power, well being, and health, helping to return the person to spiritual balance.” Dictionary on-line.
Higher World: The higher world is the place where the Angels, Spirit guides and teacher are found.
Intuition: “In philosophy, the power of obtaining knowledge that cannot be acquired either by inference or observation, by reason or experience. Original, independent source of knowledge, since it is designed to account for just those kinds of knowledge that other sources do not provide. Knowledge of necessary truths and of moral principles.

Intention:
“Anything done purposeful a

Journey Work: The Shaman enters into the spirit world and works with her/his spirit guides to answer questions for the seeker. Most common questions sought are relationship, life purpose, or what are my special talents. This method is used to answer any questions in your life!
Lower World: This is the realm where animal spirits and guides are found.
Middle World: This refers to this reality, the one in which we operate on an everyday basis.
Mysticism: A spiritual quest for hidden truth or wisdom. The goal of which is union with the divine or sacred (the transcendent realm) Union of the self or something greater than the self. (The experience of God with-in)
Past Life Regression: The Shaman determines what the client questions are concerning unresolved relationships or problems in this life and then enters into the spirit world and asks her/his teachers to show the clients past life that may connect to the current situation. Power Retrieval: Helps a person to recover from power loss, and is indicated when everything seems to break, including relationships, being accident prone, or always falling. The Shaman brings power to the person by bringing a new spirit guide or power animal to the person. That new energy will help to support the persons needs.
Psychic: “Of the soul- lying outside the sphere of physical science or knowledge immaterial, moral or spiritual in origin or force sensitive to nonphysical or supernatural forces and influences; marked by extraordinary or mysterious sensitivity, perception or understanding.” Britannica on-line.
Soul loss:
“Departure of the soul from the
body and its failure to return.

Soul Retrieval: When a person experiences a feeling of emptiness inside. That emptiness is often filled by drugs, alcohol, or food by anything that is obsessive. The Shaman travels to the spirit world and finds that lost of soul and returns it to the person. Refer to soul loss.
